Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our specific product listings (if available), usually marked with a serial number. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.
The Canon EOS T4i Camera
The Canon EOS T4i delivers 18 megapixel images at up to 5 fps and has a normal ISO range of 100-12800, giving photographers the flexibility to shoot even in low-light conditions. The 9-point all cross-type AF system with dual-cross f/2.8 center point (similar to the 60D) provides improved autofocus performance over its predecessor, the T3i. It is the first Canon camera with a Touch Screen 3-inch LCD monitor, allowing fast and intuitive touchsceen control. On the video front, the T4i features Canon’s Movie Servo AF, providing continuous focus of moving subjects while recording, allowing your subject to stay in focus at all times. It has a built-in stereo microphone and manual audio level adjustment to give high quality audio that matches the stellar video quality.
Eagles get to soar, but squirrels never get sucked into jet engines. Nobody waxes poetic about the T4i, but it will live a long happy life and be useful for years. It’s a very capable camera, in some ways more capable than much higher priced SLRs. I love the touch screen and think it should be a required (albeit disableable) feature on every camera. If my 2-year-old granddaughter knows that you should be able to swipe a finger over the screen to see the next picture, well, camera manufacturers should know that, too.
