Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Atomos Shinobi 5.2-inch 4K HDMI Monitor
The Atomos Shinobi is a 5.2" 4K HDMI on-camera monitor that monitors DCI 4K, UHD 4K, and HD video input. Key features include:
Bright, Versatile Screen. The Atomos Shinobi 5.2" 4K HDMI Monitor lets you monitor 4K footage in DCI or UHD format up to 29.97 fps and in 1080p up to 59.94 fps. It features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen with a brightness of 1000 cd/m², making it excellent for indoor and outdoor use. You can use it in daylight without needing a hood, and the screen is color calibrated for maximum accuracy.
AtomHDR Display. The traditional Rec.709 video standard is based off an 8-bit color depth and about 6.5 stops of dynamic range. The Shinobi’s monitor features a wide 10-stop dynamic range and a 10-bit signal processor, making it capable of natively displaying log footage without it looking washed out. It supports Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC log formats.
Built-In HDR Signal Management. While it can be tough to monitor log and HDR signals with conventional equipment, the Shinobi’s built-in HDR signal-management tools convert the log signal to the PQ standard for compatibility with consumer and professional HDR equipment.
Anamorphic De-Squeeze. The Shinobi supports anamorphic de-squeeze, which lets you comfortably view anamorphic footage with a squeeze of 2x, 1.5x, 1.22, and Panasonic 8:3.Audio Monitoring. You get HDMI-audio input/output and a 3.5mm headphone jack for easy audio monitoring.
