Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Atomos Sumo 19" HDR/High Brightness Monitor Recorder
The Atomos Sumo 19" HDR/High Brightness Monitor Recorder gives you a large, bright LCD with 4K recording capabilities. Key features include:
AtomHDR Display. The Atomos Sumo’s monitor features a wide 10-stop dynamic range and a 10-bit signal processor, making it capable of mapping log footage, PQ, and HLG video feeds from popular cameras, game consoles, and TV manufacturers into vibrant HDR in real time.
Daylight-Viewable Screen. By taking advantage of the monitor’s full 1200 cd/m² brightness, you can use the Sumo in the brightest of outdoor environments without requiring a hood. However, we do offer the Atomos Sunhood for Sumo 19" Monitor separately.
HDMI and SDI Interfaces. The Atomos Sumo offers full-size HDMI and SDI input and output ports, so that you can easily connect and convert among any combination of HDMI 2.0 and SDI (Quad 3G/6G/12G). The Quad SDI inputs support cameras with multiple 1.5 or 3G-SDI outputs without converters. The HDMI 2.0 supports up to DCI 4K and UHD input and output and HDR automation, which includes the importing of camera settings. You also get Genlock and LTC timecode support.
Pro Recording. Capture the raw data output from the Sony FS5, FS7, or FS700; the Canon C300 Mark II or C500; or the Panasonic VariCam LT over 12-bit DCI 4K in Cinema DNG, 10-bit Apple ProRes, or 10-bit Avid DNxHR formats. The Sumo’s high processing power lets it maintain the camera’s quality, with data rates up to 3.2 Gbps.
Built-In XLR Audio. The Sumo’s built-in full-size XLR connections can power external mics, giving you balanced analog audio, dedicated meters, and frame-delay and gain adjustments. Phantom-powered mics and line-level audio are seamlessly synchronized, which means you don’t have to worry about matching in post. You can use the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack and built-in speakers for easy review.
Constant Power. You get two 4-pin XLR inputs for power, so that the Sumo can automatically switch power sources if one stops providing power.Versatile Use. The Sumo is essentially a jack-of-all trades, whether that’s out in the field on a DIT cart, setup as a 1st AC monitor / Director’s monitor, or in the studio for the editing workflow. Whatever your needs, there’s a good chance it will excel. We include the standard desktop feet for tabletop use, as well as a Matthews VESA Monitor Mount for use on C-stand (not included).

We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
