Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM
The Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM is a macro lens designed for Canon EF-M mount mirrorless cameras such as the Canon EOS M5 or EOS M6 Mark II. Key features include:
* Canon EF-M mirrorless lens
* 1.2x Macro w/integrated Macro Lite LED
* Hybrid IS
* Compact w/retractable design
Canon EF-M Mirrorless Lens. This lens is designed specifically for Canon mirrorless cameras such as the Canon EOS M5 Mirrorless. It uses an entirely different mount than the standard Canon EF and will not mount to those cameras.
Macro and Super Macro. You read that correctly. The Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM features both standard macro and “Super Macro”, enabled by rotating the lens retract dial. As cheesy as that sounds, 1.2x magnification at its 3.66" minimum focus distance is no joke. Just keep in mind that’s 3.66" from the plane of focus AKA sensor, not the front of the lens.
Macro Lite LED. When your subject is an inch or less from the front element, it’s quite difficult to light evenly. The EF-M 28mm features an integrated front-facing LED light to more easily light even skittish subjects. There’s 3 levels of brightness, and light pattern can be configured to left, right, or both sides lit simultaneously. This light is phantom-powered, drawing needed power from the camera’s battery.
Hybrid IS. Much like the system found in the pro-grade Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro, this Hybrid Image Stabilization helps to minimize camera shake vertically, tilted and at an angle.
Compact and Retractable. Tipping the scales at 0.29 lbs., the EF-M 28 Macro retracts to just 1.79 in. when not in use. In other words, you won’t even notice it in the bottom of your camera bag. It includes a screw-on lens hood that adds an external filter threading for attaching a 43mm filter.Are we out of stock?
