Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM
The Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM is a consumer-grade wide-angle zoom lens designed for crop-frame Canon DSLRs. Key features include:
Ultra-Wide Consumer Zoom. With a focal length equivalent to 16-29mm, the EF-S 10-18mm is a low-cost wide-angle zoom that’s good for landscape and travel photography. Its variable f/4.5-5.6 aperture isn’t going to give you much flexibility in very low light, so night use may be limited.
Crop-Frame Only. Being an EF-S lens, it’s only compatible with crop-frame Canon DSLRs.
Image Stabilization. Provides up to four stops of correction, enabling you to shoot static subjects at slower shutter speeds without fear of blur.
STM Motor. The stepping motor provides silent performance for both still and video use. With cameras that support Canon EOS Movie Servo AF (EOS 70D, EOS Rebel T5i, and EOS Rebel SL1), continuous tracking autofocus while recording is possible.Optics. The four-group internal optical zoom system includes a large-diameter element, an aspherical lens element, a UD lens element, and enhanced lens coatings for high-contrast, high-resolution images with minimal glare and aberrations. The rear-focusing design ensures the optics aren’t moving, inviting filter use. However, do note that standard (non Ultra Thin) Circular Polarizing filters will result in a slight bit of vignetting with this lens.
