Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM is a multi-purpose zoom lens designed for use with Canon crop-sensor cameras like the Canon EOS T4i and 60D. The Ultra-Low Dispersion element, Aspherical element, and optimized lens coatings provide high-resolution images with minimal optical flaws. The Dynamic IS feature and STM focusing motor make it an ideal wide-angle lens for both video and stills. With compatible cameras (Canon EOS T4i), it allows smooth, continuous Servo focusing during video recording. It is an inner-focusing lens (meaning the barrel does not extend and front element doesn’t rotate during focusing), bringing high-quality performance to a consumer-friendly lens.
It’s a nice lens. A very nice video lens. If you want a decent lens to cover a wide focal range, it’s a better choice than a 10x superzoom from an image quality standpoint. But it’s not as good as a smaller range zoom.
Unfortunately, many people want “great image quality in one lens that will cover everything." That’s a lot like having a bumper sticker that says “honk if you love peace and quiet."
