Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Canon XA35 HD Professional Camcorder
The Canon XA35 HD Professional Camcorder is a prosumer camcorder with a Full HD CMOS sensor. It’s an upgrade from the XA25 featuring an improved sensor and new shooting modes. Key features include:
Improved Sensor. The Canon XA35 has a new 1/3" sensor which improves 3 dB in signal-to-noise ratio, resulting in better low-light shooting, relative to the XA20 and XA25.
Improved Gamma Modes. Canon has added Wide DR and Highlight Priority gamma modes to the XA35. Wide DR smooths out highlights and shadows, increasing dynamic range 600%. The Highlight Priority gamma setting reduces highlight and midtone compression to hold the brightest areas of your image.
Infrared Shooting Mode. The XA30’s Infrared Mode captures video in little to no ambient light at brightness levels that are approximately 1.4 times more sensitive than the previous model. For more flattering IR imagery, the detachable handle features a diffuser along with the infrared emitter. The camcorder also gives the option of recording in white or green modes.
1080/60p Recording. MP4 (35 Mbps) and AVCHD Progressive (28 Mbps) file formats are great for high-quality capture of moving subjects. The XA20 also offers slow- and fast-motion recording and native 24p recording.
3.5-inch OLED Display. Helps ensure fast and easy camcorder control. Its tilting electronic viewfinder and joystick streamline critical focus adjustment. The View Assist function increases brightness and gamma in the midtones to help provide an accurate representation of the camera’s Highlight Priority mode.
Built-In Wi-Fi Technology. Lets you wirelessly share video files to your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Also allows remote control of key camcorder functions. An optional accessory adds GPS location data to video files. Are we out of stock?
