Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Canon XF105 HD Professional Camcorder
The Canon XF 105 is Canon’s compact, fully-featured pro camcorder with SDI and Genlock. Key features include:
CMOS Sensor: The XF 105 utilizes a single 2044×1160 1/3 inch CMOS sensor, and you can choose between 60i, 60p, 30p and 24p settings to achieve just the look you want. The camera supports full HD 1920×1080 resolution, up to 50 Mbps bit rate, and 4:2:2 color sampling.
Fast and Slow Motion Recording: The camera can record at one frame rate and play back at another, allowing fast- and slow-motion recording without loss of image quality. The XF 105 can also do interval frame recording at any of 25 rates from 1 second to 10 minutes.
Compact Flash Card Recording: The camera records to UDMA CF memory cards and has two card slots that are hot-swappable, allowing you to change cards without interrupting shooting.
Canon 10x HD Zoom Lens: The lens has a zoom range of 4.25-42.5mm (35mm equivalent 30.4-304mm), f/1.8-2, twin autofocus systems, and three-mode optical image stabilization. A waveform monitor and vectorscope are also built right into the camera, and a freely rotating 3.5 inch LCD monitor and a 1.55 Megapixel EVF show 100% field of view.
HD-SDI Output and Genlock Input: The XF 105 features industry standard HD-SDI output, genlock input, and time code input/output terminals (BNC style), making it ideally suited for multi-camera or 3-D productions.Additional Features: Inputs and outputs, including HDMI Output, Component Video Output (using the included DTC-1500 cable), Composite Video Output (3.5mm), USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Terminal, and a Remote Control Terminal (compatible with LANC protocol). There is also a built-in stereo microphone and two XLR audio inputs with +48V phantom power.
The Canon XF 105 is functionally identical to its older brother the XF 305 except for the distinction of having a smaller form factor and only one sensor instead of the Canon XF 305’s three sensor array. One of the most exciting features of these cameras is their ability to pair up for shooting 3D.
Are we out of stock? If you don't see exactly what you're looking for and that makes you sad, please give us a shout. We might have good news for you. Here's a link to our contact form.
We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
