Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Ikelite DL 8" Dome Port for Wide-Angle / Zoom Lenses in DSLR and Mirrorless Housings
Capture shots of coral reefs, parrot fish, and humpback whales with various wide-angle and zoom lenses in Ikelite's DL 8" Dome Port, which has a depth rating of 200'. It accommodates many different lenses, including Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Tokina, and Rokinon models ranging from 8 to 105mm in focal length. The port is designed to be mounted onto Ikelite DSLR and mirrorless camera housings that have the Dry Lock mount. Additionally, it can be combined with DL extensions to allow for the use of long lenses. For complete compatibility details, see the port chart.
The clear dome magnifies images to a lesser degree than a flat port does, and corrects for the underwater distortion that makes things appear 25% larger and closer--thus helping to restore a wide angle of view. Built for durability, the port is made in the USA from acrylic and acetyl plastic. Protruding edges on the top and bottom act as a built-in shade, shielding the front element from excess light to prevent glare and lens flare.
