Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Irix 15mm f/2.4 Blackstone for Nikon
The Irix 15mm f/2.4 Blackstone for Nikon is a manual-focus wide-angle prime designed for Nikon F-mount DSLRs. Key features include:
* Very wide 110° angle of view
* Advanced optics for high-quality images
* 11.02-inch minimum focusing distance
* Premium, weather-sealed construction
Very Wide Angle. The Irix 15mm f/2.4 Blackstone for Nikon is really, really wide. Like really wide. Like 110° angle of view wide. Because its field of view is exactly 110°. Its minimal distortion makes it an excellent choice for architecture and landscape photography. Using a DX camera? You’ll have a focal length equivalent to 22.5mm.
Very Close Focus. When this lens’s wide perspective is coupled with its 11.02-inch minimum focusing distance, foreground subjects become exaggerated, creating a broad sense of space in the image.
Advanced Optics. The Irix 15mm f/2.4 Blackstone’s fifteen-element/eleven-group design includes two aspherical elements, three high-refractive index elements, and two extra-low dispersion elements that control distortions and aberrations while retaining sharpness and clarity at any focus distance. The Neutrino coating controls ghosting and flare for a color-neutral image.
Premium Build. The 15mm f/2.4’s durable aluminum and magnesium-alloy housing boasts an anti-scratch finish and high-visibility depth-of-field scales. Its weather-resistant construction includes internal seals to guard against dust and moisture, and an additional seal to protect the front element.
Modern Manual Focus. This fully manual-focus lens features a positive focus lock mechanism to help prevent focus shifting, while a hard click stop indicates the infinity position on the focus ring for easy use when you’re working in low-visibility conditions.Are we out of stock?
