Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony E Speed Booster
The Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony E Speed Booster allows you to mount Nikon F-mount FX lenses to compatible Sony NEX E-mount cameras and camcorders. Key features include:
Lens Compatibility. The Speed Booster adapter allows nearly any full-frame F-mount lens to be used. This includes both G and non-G series Nikon lenses, as well as legacy non-AI & AI lenses. Nikon DX (crop-sensor) lenses will not work with this adapter.
Camera Compatibility. This adapter allows Nikon lenses to be used on Sony E-mount cameras. Do note it does not provide full-frame sensor coverage.
Increased Aperture & Wider Focal Length. By design, the Speed Booster widens the focal length of the lens mounted by 0.71x, which in turn increases the maximum aperture of the lens by 1-stop.
Aperture Ring. The adapter has it’s own 8-stop aperture ring for controlling Nikon G-series lenses without their own. The ring also has half-stop clicks, allowing you to set it to a specific aperture rather than a step-less ring that spins freely.
Sturdy Design with Built-In Tripod Foot. The aluminum barrel and brass mounts give it a solid feel, with an arca-swiss compatible tripod foot that lets you mount the adapter itself directly to a tripod. This ensures the weight of the lens dos not put additional stress on the camera’s mount. What It Doesn’t Do. This adapter provides no electronic communication with the camera. Therefore, you will have not have autofocus and EXIF data will not be transferred. With that said, you can’t set the camera to auto and start shooting. Some manual exposure adjustments must be made.
