Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon 200mm f/2G ED AF-S VR II
The Nikon 200mm f/2G ED AF-S VR II is a very fast telephoto lens for Nikon F-mount cameras. If you need a fast-aperture telephoto lens, this is arguably the best available. Key features include:
Extremely Shallow Depth of Field. The Nikon 200mm f/2G ED AF-S VR II’s f/2 aperture renders extremely shallow depth-of-field images with beautiful background blur, making it an ideal choice for a variety of photographic styles such as sports and portraiture.
Improved Vibration Reduction. As an update to the original Nikon 200mm f/2 IF-ED AF-S VR, this lens adds an improved Vibration Reduction II system, allowing up to four stops of correction with tripod-sensing ability.
Advanced Optics and Focusing. This updated version also features Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat for minimizing ghosting and lens flare, and an additional A/M focusing mode. Otherwise, it offers the same high image quality and performance of its predecessor.Roger's Take
This lens is Faster than Paris Hilton, sharper than my ex-wife’s tongue, more contrasty than a Democratic Primary, and provides backgrounds as beautifully blurred as my memories of that weekend in Cancun, but it's more expensive than an Illinois Congressman on vacation with a lobbyist.
This lens is phenomenal just as it is. With a set of teleconverters it can be any lens you want it to be from 200mm to 400mm.
Truth is, that’s one reason I love it: one lens and a set of teleconverters and I have a 200 f/2.0, 300 f/2.8, and 400 f/4 in a package smaller than just a 300 f/2.8. The other reason I love it is that, as a 200mm f/2.0, it makes some of the most spectacular images I’ve seen.
