Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon D610 Camera
The Nikon D610 is a prosumer-level full-frame DSLR and very slight upgrade to the Nikon D600. Key features include:
The D610 is essentially the slightly taller twin brother of the D600. Its only “official” differences are a newly designed shutter mechanism that increases maximum frames-per-second to 6 (D600 shoots 5.5fps), the addition of a 3 fps quiet continuous mode, and “updated” white balance system. While these are good things to have, the more likely, yet unconfirmed, major update is to resolve the widely reported D600 dust issues.
The full-frame sensor with Nikon’s advanced EXSPEED 3 image processor provides high resolution images with accurate color reproduction, rich tonality, and large dynamic range. It offers very good high-ISO performance, with a normal range of 100-6400 (expandable to 50-25,600).
Utilizing the AF system from the Nikon D7000, the D610 gives shooters 39 AF points to select from. It has a maximum continuous frame rate of 6 fps, with autofocus capability all the way to f/8, making teleconverter users feel right at home.
The D610 shoots 1080P full HD at 24, 25, and 30fps, outputting footage in a very friendly .MOV file with h.264 compression. For those who demand higher quality footage, the D610’s HDMI input also provides clean, uncompressed video, allowing the use of a high-end external recorder. Also featured are a 3.5mm mic input and a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing high quality audio recording and monitoring while shooting.Despite its small size, the D610 sports a lightweight yet rugged magnesium alloy body. The camera features a large viewfinder and still retains a built-in pop-up flash that is compatible with the Nikon CLS system. The large 3.2" 921K rear LCD makes image review and live view shooting very visually pleasing. Additionally, there’s a built-in intervalometer that enables in-camera time-lapse photography. The camera has two SD memory card slots that are compatible with a wide range of SDHC/XC cards, allowing uninterrupted shooting even after one card fills. The D610 uses the same EN-EL15 rechargeable lithium battery as the D7000/D800, and is rated at 900 shots per charge.

We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
