Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon D7100 Camera
The Nikon D7100 is based around a 24.1MP DX-format CMOS sensor that’s been designed without an optical low-pass filter, maximizing its resolution for exceptionally sharp details. The EXPEED 3 image processor allows a continuous shooting speed of up to six frames per second. With an ISO sensitivity range up to 25600, the Nikon D7100 allows shooting in almost any condition.
The Nikon D7100 includes a redesigned AF system with a 51-point focus area with 15 cross-type sensors for detecting both vertical and horizontal variations to achieve fast, precise focus. The central cross-type sensor works down to f/8, which is an advantage when using compatible tele-converters. The Nikon D7100 also features the option of a 1.3x crop, which allows you to get closer to your subject, as well as providing more image size options and faster processing of your images, including a faster 7 fps burst rate.
Full HD 1080p video is supported on the D7100 and offers continuous autofocus, manual exposure control, a built-in stereo microphone, and an external microphone and headphone jack. Recording at 60i, 50i, 30, 25 and 24 frames per second is possible, and an HDMI output allows for direct screening on an HDTV or monitor. At 720p HD you can record up to 60 frames per second.A 3.2" 1229k-dot TFT-color LCD provides 100% coverage, and the optical viewfinder features an OLED display element for clear reading of the camera’s settings without removing your eye from the finder. Dual SD card slots allow for more memory options for use with SDHC and SDXC cards. A built-in flash with commander function supports Advanced Wireless Lighting, and a hot-shoe/accessory mount is available for Nikon speedlights.
