Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon D810 Camera
The Nikon D810 is a high-resolution, semi-pro DSLR and update to the popular Nikon D800/D800E. Key features include:
36.3MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor. The D810 features an updated 36.3MP sensor with no Optical Low Pass filter, maximizing image sharpness. This updated sensor offers improved ISO performance with a normal range of 64 – 12,800, while the EXPEED 4 processor first seen in the D4s provides 30% faster performance than the D800/800E.
Enhanced Autofocus. It’s technically the same Multi-Cam 3500-FX AF sensor seen in the D800/800E, but it has been tweaked to give better accuracy and speed. There are 51 AF points to choose from, with 15 being cross-type AF sensors, and the Group Area AF mode has trickled down from the D4s.
Improved Video Functionality. The D810 improves on the D800/800E video features with the ability to shoot Full HD 1920×1080 video at up to 60p. There’s now a Flat Picture Control profile for greater flexibility in post-production, expanded ISO options including full 64–12,800 range and Auto ISO capability, zebra stripes, built-in stereo microphone, and uncompressed HDMI output with simultaneous recording to memory card.Other Notable Improvements. The D810 has an improved 3.2" LCD with 1,229K-dot resolution that can be used to display the new “Split screen zoom” mode for checking focus on two different points in live view. The large optical viewfinder gets an OLED info display, and face detection is possible while shooting through the OVF. Shooting speed has been improved, offering a max 5 fps in FX mode and 7 fps in DX mode (MB-D12 battery grip required for DX increase). The highly desired S-RAW that enables 9MP image capture has been added, as well as an electronic first-curtain shutter and redesigned mirror mechanism for minimizing shutter shock. The D810 still uses the same Nikon EN-EL15 battery that’s rated for 1200 shots per charge, and the dual CF/SD memory card slot remains.

We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
