Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon SB-700 Speedlight Flash
The SB-700 is a Nikon on-camera flash designed for use with cameras that use the i-TTL metering system. It is compatible with DX and FX sensors, and its power zoom head covers a 24-120mm range when used with an FX camera. The SB-700 can be used as a solo shoe mount flash, as a remote controlled by another speedlight, or as a commander controlling off-camera speedlights.
The flash includes plastic filters for fluorescent and incandescent lighting and automatically recognizes when a filter is installed and automatically adjusts for it. It also has three different illumination patterns: standard, center-weighted, and even (perfect for group photos). One of our favorite features is that it a thermal cut-out which helps prevent overheating damage.Tim's Take
The SB-700 is great for small events / weddings where you just need some fill flash. It has a fully articulating head that enables bouncing light whether shooting in portrait or landscape orientation. While it can be used as the primary light source, you’ll notice it struggling to keep up due to the recycle times. If you’ll be shooting large groups, from a distance, or very quickly in low light, you might want to look at his big brother, the SB-910. Otherwise, the SB-700 is wonderful option!
