Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Nikon SB-910 AF Speedlight Flash
The Nikon SB-910 Speedlight is Nikon’s update to the very popular SB-900. It has more simplified graphic user interface (GUI) which allows for easy control and navigation, all while providing the same power output. This time around, Nikon included a dedicated Menu button, which means no more complicated button-mashing to set your advanced settings. It has an improved thermal protection system which, rather than shut the flash down when overheated, it slows the recycle time during rapid firing. You have a zoom range of 17-200mm (35mm equivalent) than can be set manually or automatically adjust with your lens. Like the SB-700, there are 3 different light distribution patterns that allow you to make adjustments based on what you’re shooting.
The SB-910 can work as a stand-alone flash, or as part of a wireless group, either in Commander mode or as a slave (remote). The i-TTL system in this flash supports Advanced Wireless Lighting and versatile functions for up to four groups of Speedlights, with 3 remote i-TTL Speedlight groups controlled through the master SB-910. i-TTL Balanced Fill-Flash flash control employs Nikon’s Advanced Data Communication System. This system provides an improved method for the monitor pre-flash and wireless operation that marks an evolution in higher precision—it forms the core of the Creative Lighting System.
There are now hard filters for fluorescent and tungsten lighting, which the flash will automatically change the camera’s white balance to match the filter in use.Tim's Take
The SB-910 is Nikon’s speedlight workhorse. It’s the go-to flash for Nikon wedding and event photographers due to its high output and reliability. The fully articulating head enables flash bouncing in both portrait and landscape orientation, and the built-in Nikon CLS commander mode is great for triggering other compatible off-camera Nikon speedlights. If you’re shooting from a far distance, a large event or wedding and need an on-camera flash, the SB-910 is the real deal!
