Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 ED PRO Micro 4/3 Lens
The Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 ED PRO is a high-grade, fast-aperture zoom lens for the Micro 4/3 system. Key features include:
Fast Normal Range Zoom. With a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24-80mm, it covers the wide-to-portrait length range. The low-light capability of the f/2.8 aperture makes it ideal for event and wedding photography. This also enables great subject/background separation for portraiture.
High-Speed AF with MSC. The linear AF motor gives fast and accurate autofocus performance. It also has the MSC (Movie and Still Image Compatible) designation, meaning its smooth and silent autofocus works great for shooting video.
High Build & Optics Quality. The dust-, freeze-, and drip-proof build allows use in even the least desirable conditions. Its clutch-engaged manual-focus ring gives quick access to manual adjustments. Optically, the 12-40mm features one aspherical ED (extra-low dispersion), two aspherical, one DSA (Dual Super Aspherical), two extra-low dispersion, one HD, and two HR (high-refractive index) elements. This advanced optical formula provides images with minimal aberrations, distortion, and color fringing throughout the zoom range while retaining overall image sharpness, clarity, and fidelity. Are we out of stock?
