Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Olympus 8mm f/1.8 ED PRO Micro 4/3 Lens
The Olympus 8mm f/1.8 ED PRO Fisheye is a high-quality, fast-aperture fisheye lens designed for the Micro 4/3 system. Key features include:
Fast-Aperture Fisheye. This 16mm-equivalent (post sensor-crop factor) fisheye provides users with a professional-grade rectilinear fisheye lens. While it’s more a niche lens, the 180º angle of view enables a truly unique perspective and creative distortions. It has an extremely fast f/1.8 aperture for a fisheye, allowing use in low-light conditions.
Autofocus. The 8mm uses a high-speed imager AF system with fast, near-silent performance. It falls within the Movie and Still Image Compatible (MSC) designation, meaning it excels in video application as well.
Build & Optics. The dust-, splash-, and freeze-proof design keeps you shooting without fear of poor working conditions. There’s a built-in petal hood that helps to prevent lens flare while simultaneously protecting the front element. According to Olympus, the 8mm fisheye features one aspherical, two ED, two super ED, two high refractive index, and one super-high refractive index elements to help to minimize aberrations, distortion, and color fringing. However, don’t be fooled. A fisheye lens is extremely distorted, so don’t shoot portraits with it unless you want unhappy clients. Are we out of stock?
