Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Panasonic 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 Micro 4/3 Lens
The Panasonic PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 OIS for Micro 4/3 is a relatively small 3.8x telephoto zoom lens, considering its range (90-350mm equivalent). The lens features Panasonic’s new Power Zoom technology, which is great for shooting video. The toggle switch on the side of the lens controls the power zoom, yet you still have the manual zoom option if needed. With some Panasonic cameras (not the AG-AF100), you can adjust the power zoom speed in the menu. This offers the user the flexibility of a quick zoom for fast action or a slow, smooth zoom for a dramatic effect.
It also has Panasonic’s Multi-Actuator Floating Inner Focus System, which allows the lens to stay at an overall length of 3.54", regardless of zoom or focus setting. This, in combination with a stepping motor and contrast autofocus, gives an ultra-fast AF telephoto lens for nearly any use. For video shooters, the lens is indeed parfocal, which means no focus pulling while zooming on a static subject is necessary. It uses a nano crystal coating and two aspherical and ED elements for high image quality with ghosting, flare, and chromatic aberrations kept to a minimum.Tim's Take
This small, lightweight telephoto zoom offers a power zoom feature, allowing smooth zoom transitions. That’s its claim to fame. Image quality is about average for a low-cost consumer lens. If you don’t need the power zoom feature for shooting video and don’t mind the increase in size, the Panasonic 100-300mm f/4-5.6 OIS offers slightly better image quality.
