Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Micro Four Thirds Camera with 14-42mm Lens
The Panasonic G7 is a full-featured mirrorless enthusiast camera for the Micro 4/3 system. Key features include:
__What’s New.__ As an upgrade to the Panasonic G6, the G7 has an updated 16MP sensor, larger EVF, improved autofocus, and 4K video capture.
__16MP Live MOS Sensor.__ With the updated Venus Engine 9 image processor, this Micro 4/3-sized sensor outputs high-quality images with a normal ISO range of 200-25,600. It shoots a max of 8 fps using the mechanical shutter, or up to 40 fps using the electronic shutter function.
__Depth-From-Defocus Autofocus System.__ The G7’s DFD autofocus system uses contrast detection to acquire focus in conditions down to -4EV. There’s continuous subject-tracking focus for keeping up with moving subjects, and focus peaking to assist with manual focusing in both still and video shooting.
__4K.__ The G7 records 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) at 24p/30p in MP4 format with a bit rate of 100 Mbps. You can capture Full HD 1080/60p video in either MP4 or AVCHD format, and you can capture audio using the built-in stereo mic or via the 3.5mm external mic input. The G7 also has a few 4K photo modes that enable 30 fps capture of 8MP JPEG stills for up to 30 minutes with full exposure control.
__Build.__ Coming in slightly smaller than the GH4 but larger than the G6, the G7 offers physical exposure dials and six customizable Fn buttons. It has a large, 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.7x magnification, and a fully articulating 3-inch 1.04-million dot rear touchscreen LCD for image composition and review.
__Other Notable Features.__ Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity enables wireless transfer of images and remote camera operation using the free smartphone app. The camera records to SDHC/XC memory cards, fully supporting the UHS-II cards for 4K capture, while the included rechargeable battery is rated for roughly 360 shots per charge.
The Panasonic 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II OIS is a kit lens designed for Micro 4/3 cameras. Key features include:
__Wide to Short Tele Zoom.__ With a focal range equivalent to 28-84mm after sensor crop, the Panasonic 14-42mm covers the wide to short tele/portrait focal range, making it a good general purpose lens. The f/3.5-5.6 variable aperture doesn’t give much flexibility for low light shooting, so you’ll probably want to only use in outdoor daylight conditions.
__MEGA OIS.__ The in-lens MEGA Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system helps combat camera shake, letting you shooting at slower shutter speeds when needed.
__Optics and Build.__ This lens features a single aspherical element that helps to minimize aberrations, while its multi-coating prevents reflections that cause flares and ghosting. It has a motorized inner focusing system that ensures smooth, silent autofocus for both still and video shooting. The compact, lightweight design means this lens will fit nicely in your bag and won’t be a chore to carry.
