Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Panasonic 24-105mm f/4 S Macro OIS
The Panasonic Lumix S 24-105mm f/4 Macro O.I.S. Lens is a versatile wide-angle to short-telephoto zoom for L-mount mirrorless cameras. Key features include:
Versatile Wide-Angle to Short-Telephoto Zoom. The Panasonic 24-105mm f/4 S Macro OIS’s 11.8-inch minimum focusing distance and 1:2 maximum magnification ratio make it great for capturing close-up subjects. Using an APS-C camera? You’ll get a 36-157.5mm equivalent focal-length range.
L-Mount Alliance. This wide-diameter lens mount is a joint collaboration between Leica, Panasonic, and Sigma that’s focused on a line of premium cameras & lenses in a mirrorless format. At 51.6mm mount diameter and just 20mm flange distance, the L-mount is well-suited for fast-aperture full-frame optics with compact dimensions.
Stepping Autofocus Motor. The motor provides fast, accurate, and nearly silent autofocus performance for still and video use. You can use the AF/MF switch to easily toggle between autofocus and manual focus modes, and you can use the zoom-lock switch to prevent the lens from extending when you’re not using it.
Constant f/4 Aperture. The constant f/4 maximum aperture gives you consistent illumination throughout the lens’s zoom range. The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
Optical Image Stabilization. The in-lens stabilizer helps to combat camera shake, allowing you to shoot at slower shutter speeds. It supports five-axis Dual I.S. 2 for increased stabilization.Optics. The thirteen-group/sixteen-element optical formula includes four aspherical elements, one ultra extra-low dispersion element, and two extra-low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion.
Let’s start this by making it clear I don’t like 24-105mm lenses, I think they are the minivan of camera lenses. I will, admit, of course, that sometimes a minivan is a good (if rather sad) choice. So I was surprised that I liked this lens. I actually found myself using the ‘nearly macro’ feature quite a bit and with good results. Autofocus was fast and accurate. It had good resolution throughout its range, even in the range over 70mm where most 24-105s, to phrase it scientifically, pretty much suck. And the range is useful, no doubt about it. When I found myself leaving the house with just one lens, it was usually this one and I got several ‘print worthy’ images with it.

We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
