Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Pentax HD DA 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR
The Pentax HD DA 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR is a high-quality standard zoom for APS-C Pentax DSLRs. Key features include:
Standard Zoom. With a focal length equivalent to 24.5-130mm after sensor-crop factor, the Pentax 16-85mm is a great zoom option for general-purpose use. Its f/3.5-5.6 aperture isn’t anything to write home about, but it’ll get the job done in good lighting. If you’re shooting indoors or in low light, you’ll want a flash and/or tripod.
Direct Current Autofocus Motor. The in-lens direct-current autofocus motor enables smooth, nearly silent performance for both still and video use. This lens also features Pentax’s Quick-Shift Focus System for instantly switching from autofocus to manual focus.
Optics. The twelve group/sixteen element design features one extra-low dispersion (ED) element and three aspherical elements that work in tandem to help keep chromatic aberrations and distortion at bay throughout the zoom range. Additionally, the SP (Super Protect) coating on the front and rear lens elements repels dust, water, and grease.
HD Lens Coating. This high-grade, multi-layer coating reduces reflections while optimizing light transmission and image contrast. Are we out of stock?
