Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Pixelstick LED Lightpainting Tool
The Pixelstick LED Lightpainting Tool is a niche accessory that’s designed for creative lightpainting. Key features include:
Lightpainting Background. Firstly, if you’re not familiar with lightpainting you should get a brief background here and do a google image search.
What It Is. The Pixelstick is a 73" “wand” that uses 200 RGB LEDs to produce images and patterns for nighttime lightpainting. The lightweight aluminum build breaks down to 43" for easy transport, with relatively simple on-site assembly. For detailed setup, see the user manual in our links tab.
How It Works. The included controller reads BMP image files from an SD card (4GB included) to then display them, one vertical line at a time, using the LEDs. If that’s hard to imagine, the creators made a quick gif that helps to illustrate how it works.
What It Can Do. The short answer is a lot. Since images and designs can be user-created, the sky is the limit. While your standard long-exposures will be the most common use, its use can also transition into multiple exposures and time lapse.
What You Need. This is just the lighting tool. You will still need a camera, lens, tripod, remote shutter release, and some creativity and skill. There are some demo images / patterns that come installed on the unit, but any further than that will require loading them to the included SD card via computer. The Pixelstick is powered via 8x AA batteries (not included). Are we out of stock?
