Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 for Nikon - No Focus Confirmation Chip
Sorry! We are currently sold out! But, be sure to check our Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 for Nikon - Focus Confirmation Chip listing for stock, too!
The Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC is an ultra-wide angle manual focus lens for both Nikon FX and DX cameras. Key features include:
Ultra-Wide Angle: Compatible with both full-frame and crop-frame cameras, the Rokinon 14mm provides a 115° and 90° angle of view, respectively.
High Quality Optics: With two ED lens elements, one hybrid aspherical lens element and one glass aspherical lens element, the lens provides sharp images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations. Ghosting and lens flare are also kept at bay through the use of Super Multi-Layer coatings, as well as the built-in lens hood.Creative Uses: With an ultra-wide angle lens, you can take advantage of its extreme angle of view to capture very interesting images. Common practical uses are for landscape and architectural photography, but the lens can be used to shoot some rather interesting portraits as well. Its close focus distance of 10.79" makes exaggerating perspective very simple to do.
It’s manual focus, but at 14mm focus is basically "everything I can’t touch is usually in focus," so that’s not critical. It has a lot of barrel distortion, but everything else at this focal length has some. Not as much, but some. But it’s amazingly sharp. Better than the Nikon 14mm f/2.8 prime (which is way dated) and a third of the price. I will note, this is held together inside with plastic, glue, and small screws. You won’t be using it for years. But the price of a new one is less than the price of a repair on a 14-24 f/2.8.
