Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Rokinon Xeen 14mm T3.1 for Sony E-Mount
The Rokinon XEEN lenses are budget-friendly, true cinema lenses that are offered in a variety of focal lengths and lens mounts. This is the 14mm T3.1 for Sony E mount cameras and camcorders.
Ultra-Wide Angle Prime. The Rokinon Xeen 14mm T3.1 offers full-frame coverage while providing a 115.7° angle of view, giving you a budget-friendly, ultra-wide angle cine lens. Its T3.1 aperture is relatively fast for shooting in moderately low light, but you’re probably not picking an ultra-wide for low light shooting.
4K Resolving Power. Keeping with the market trend, the XEEN lenses support 4K+ capture. Optics are largely the same as the Rokinon Cine DS line of lenses. However, additional multi-coatings have been applied to ensure consistent and accurate color when switching lenses to another in the XEEN line.
True Cinema Lens. Yes, it’s true the XEEN lenses share similarities with the Cine DS lenses. But where they differ is in the build and performance you’d expect from a true cinema lens. Their aluminum housing with calibrated, 0.8 pitch geared focus and iris rings offer buttery-smooth operation. Dual scale markings, standardized ring position, and uniformity in physical size across the lineup enable consistency for rigging out your setup with follow focuses and matte boxes.Fully Manual. This lens provides no electronic communication with the camera. All aperture and focus adjustments must be made manually on the lens itself. The aperture selected will not be displayed on the camera, and it won’t show up in the EXIF data.
The Xeen series lenses from Rokinon, offer an “entry level” option for people wishing to use cinema style glass. Optically these lenses are nearly identical to their previously available (and much more affordable) counterparts. However, like other cinema lenses, the Xeen line-up offers a handful of functional differences, better suiting them to video shooting. Protracted focus pulls, enhance their usefulness and accuracy when using with a follow focus. Moreover, every lens in the Xeen series, have geared manual focus and iris rings that are positioned the same distance off the mount, making them ideal for quick and seamless change-outs on any rig. While they may not have the pedigree of the Zeiss or Canon cine lenses, the Xeen lenses are a great addition to our cinema lens offerings, especially if you are looking for a “value” cinema-style lens so you can come in under budget.
