Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary for Nikon
The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon is a compact, budget-friendly, super-telephoto zoom lens designed for full-frame Nikon DSLRs. Key features include:
Super Telephoto Zoom. This long-range zoom provides a large focal range to capture subjects at a great distance. While it’s not quite as ideal for sports photography as the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens, this “Contemporary” version is perfectly suited for wildlife and outdoor shooting. The variable f/5-6.3 aperture may be a tad limiting for low-light shooting, so you’ll get the best performance while shooting in daylight.
Hyper Sonic Motor Autofocus System. Provides fast, silent operation in a wide variety of shooting situations. The Auto/Manual Focus switch also has a Manual Override position that enables full-time manual-focus override for quick fine tuning.
Optical Stabilizer with Accelerometer. Helps to eliminate camera shake when shooting. For improved panning performance, Sigma has added an accelerometer to help detect horizontal and vertical movement when shooting in Mode 2.
High Image Quality. As a part of Sigma’s Contemporary line, this lens goes through Sigma’s rigorous A1 testing, ensuring high image quality. One “F” Low-Dispersion element, which performs equivalently to fluorite, guarantees sharp images. Meanwhile, two Special Low-Dispersion elements maximize image clarity and contrast.
Professional Build. The lens barrel is constructed of Sigma’s durable Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, which ensures minimal shrinkage in extreme conditions. This “Contemporary” version doesn’t get the full weather sealing that the “Sports” version does, but it does have a weather seal on the mount to help protect the camera body. Its zoom-lock switch and rotating tripod ring give you ultimate flexibility when shooting from a tripod or monopod.Dock Compatible. As part of Sigma’s Global Vision series, this lens is compatible with the Sigma USB Dock for Nikon F Lenses (sold separately), allowing you to adjust certain parameters through the Sigma Optimization Pro software.
