Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sigma 15mm f/2.8 DG Fisheye for Canon
The Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Fisheye for Canon is a rectilinear fisheye lens designed for full-frame Canon cameras. Key features include:
Rectilinear Fisheye. The Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Fisheye provides the classic fisheye look with a full 180º angle of view with loads of distortion. It offers full rectilinear coverage (fills the image frame) on full-frame cameras.Exaggerated Perspective. The Sigma can focus as close as 5.9 inches, providing some interesting close-up effects, especially given its huge depth of field. It allows full-time manual focus, but autofocuses quickly and accurately.
This is the classic fisheye look for full-frame cameras, just a slightly fishy wide-angle lens on a crop-frame. There are other 15mm and 16mm full-frame fisheye lenses, but we really see no sense in stocking them. The Sigma 15 is as good as any — very sharp, quick to focus, a pleasure to use. All that being said, fisheyes are great fun, but you don’t want to go anywhere with it as your only wide-angle lens. Most of us tire of the effect after a while.
