Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM for Canon
The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM for Canon is a wide-aperture standard zoom lens for Canon EF-mount cameras. Key features include:
Canon EF mount. We carry this lens in multiple mounts with this one being the Canon version.
Fast Aperture. The fast f/2.8 aperture enables great low-light performance and shallow depth of field, with its nine-bladed diaphragm offering smooth out-of-focus highlights
High Quality Optics. The lens’s three aspherical glass elements, one Extra Low-Dispersion element, and two Super Low-Dispersion elements work in unison to minimize aberration and distortion. The Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting, helping to provide high contrast and color accuracy. This lens also offers internal zoom and focusing.HSM Motor. The Hyper Sonic Motor autofocus system provides fast, smooth, and quiet operation in a wide variety of shooting situations.
First, we’ve been pleasantly surprised that the copies we received were all accurate focusers—and focused quite quickly at that. The lens seems well-built, and the rings feel solid. At f/4 and higher, the lens is very sharp and can hang with the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L. (We didn’t do any pixel-peeping, hair-splitting tests, but it looks good.) At f/2.8 it’s clearly softer than the Canon. I mean, I’d call it usable, but the lens is clearly sharper at f/4.
Given the price difference, though, I’d consider it a reasonable alternative to the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L .
