Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art for Nikon
The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon is a professional-caliber, fast-aperture prime lens designed for Nikon F-mount cameras. Key features include:
Fast f/1.4 Aperture Normal Range. The combination of normal focal range and fast aperture makes it ideal for portraiture where subject-background isolation is needed. This also makes it a perfect choice for shooting in low-light. Being a standard 50mm focal length, the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM is useful for just about any type of photography.
High Image Quality. As a member of Sigma’s Art lens line, it goes through Sigma’s rigorous A1 testing, ensuring high image quality. It features a molded glass aspherical element to eliminate sagittal coma flare, vignetting, and color blur throughout the aperture range. Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements correct for axial chromatic aberration while the Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes ghosting and lens flare. All this is incorporated into a floating optical design that provides high detail rendering and a close focus distance of 1.3’.
Hyper Sonic AF Motor. The built-in focus motor provides quick and quiet autofocusing that still offers full-time manual focus control simply by rotating the focus ring.
Dock-Compatible. This lens is also compatible with the Sigma USB Dock for Nikon F Lenses (not included), which allows users to specify certain parameters like fine-tuning microfocus through the Sigma Optimization Pro software. Are we out of stock?
