Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The SLR Magic Anamorphot-Cine 2x 50mm T2.8 for Micro 4/3
The SLR Magic Anamorphot-Cine 2x 50mm T2.8 MFT is a budget-friendly anamorphic lens for Micro 4/3 cameras and camcorders. Key features include:
Single Focus Point. To get anamorphic on a budget, you typically have to use a two-step process with an adapter and a spherical taking lens. The SLR Magic Anamorphot-Cine lens combines everything into one unit. This simplifies your setup—you no longer have to line up your optics to get the squeeze right or worry about whether your lens is too wide to support the adapter. And, most importantly, focus is simplified to a single control mechanism, meaning you can actually pull and rack focus within a scene.
2x Squeeze. This lens is ideally suited for pairing with the Panasonic GH4 and its 4:3 anamorphic mode to create a 2.66:1 aspect ratio. On regular 16:9 sensors, it creates an ultra-wide 3.54:1 aspect ratio. So if you want to go extra wide with your composition, these are the lenses for you.
Multi-Coated Optics. The custom optical components will cover high resolution sensors (but will not be ultra sharp), while the lens coating provides elegant flaring.
Fully Manual. This lens provides no electronic communication with the camera. You must make all aperture and focus adjustments manually on the lens itself. The aperture you select won’t be displayed on the camera, and it won’t show up in the EXIF data. Are we out of stock?
