Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 VA Camera
The Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VA is an advanced, compact point-and-shoot camera and an update to the Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 V. Key features include:
What’s New. The RX100 VA is like an RX100 V with the processor and autofocus system of an RX100 VI. Compared to the RX100V, it boasts a deeper buffer; improved white-balance and metering, and the ability to save 720p proxy footage along with 4K video.
20.1MP 1-inch BSI Stacked Sensor. The imaging aspect of the sensor is unchanged from the RX100 V, using the same 1" BSI CMOS sensor with integrated DRAM chip. However, Sony’s also crammed the RX100 VI’s intricate phase-detection autofocus system on the chip as well. The new processor adds substantial gains in speed across the board. The camera tops out at 24 FPS continuous shooting with autofocus for bursts up to 233 JPG/71 RAW before hitting the buffer wall. The processor also boasts an ISO range of 125 to 12,800 (80 to 12,800 in extended mode).
Fast-Aperture Zoom Lens. While the Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VI saw the lens grow to a physically larger, slower 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 equivalent, the RX100 VA retains the same great Carl Zeiss 24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 Vario-Sonnar T* (equivalent) lens seen in the last few versions in the RX100 lineup. If you’re looking for a truly small compact camera that can handle indoor/low lighting, then this is the one you want.
Fast Hybrid Autofocus. The RX100 VA carries over the RX100 VI’s on-sensor autofocus system. This hybrid system has 315 phase-detection points that cover 65% of the frame, while a contrast-detection system provides fast, accurate focusing in a variety of situations.
Integrated Pop-Up EVF and Tiltable LCD. Also unchanged from the RX100 V are the EVF and LCD. The 0.39" 2,359k-dot SVGA OLED pop-up electronic viewfinder provides users a pleasant traditional shooting experience, and the 3.0" 1,229k-dot Xtra Fine tilting rear LCD offers 180° up / 45° down of tilt, giving tripod and arm’s length shooters plenty of options.
Internal 4K Video (Burst). The RX100 VA shoots UHD 4K video at 24/30 FPS in XAVC S format for up to five minutes, using full pixel readout with no line skipping or pixel binning. The increased data throughput from the integrated DRAM chip also enables extremely fast Full HD 1080p capture at up to 960 FPS. For advanced users, S-Log2 gamma is accessible, providing 8-bit, 4:2:0 sampling internally recorded. For more demanding shoots, the RX100 VA offers a Micro-HDMI output for 4:2:2 uncompressed video to an external recorder.
Advanced Controls. Like the other models in Sony’s RX-series, this camera offers manual-control options for advanced users. There’s a dedicated function button and manual-control ring that can be programmed to offer quick adjustments of several different functions, allowing users to forego menu diving.
Built-In Wi-Fi. Allows wireless transmission of images as well as camera control with compatible smartphones and tablets.User Flexibility. The RX100 VA records images/video to SDHC/XC memory cards (not included) and is powered by the NP-BX1 rechargeable lithium battery rated for 220 shots per charge. Please note that 4K video capture in S-Log2 requires a UHS-I Class 3 or faster memory card.
