Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 VII Camera
The Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII is an advanced, compact point-and-shoot camera and an update to the Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VI. Key features include:
What’s Changed? The Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII offers a few improvements over its predecessor. You get a faster continuous-shooting rate, a broader ISO range, a built-in mic input, a slightly improved autofocus system, an interval-recording option, a panorama option, and digital and optical image stabilization.
20.1MP 1.0" BSI Stacked Sensor. The imaging aspect of the sensor is unchanged from the RX100 VI, using the same 1.0" BSI CMOS sensor with integrated DRAM chip. Sony’s crammed an intricate phase-detection autofocus system on the chip as well, and the BIONZ X image processor keeps performance speedy. The camera tops out at blackout-free 20 FPS continuous shooting with autofocus tracking and gives you seven-shot burst shooting at up to 30/60/90 FPS in JPEG/RAW. Finally, native ISO performance has been expanded to 100-12800, which can be further extended to 64-25600.
Fast Hybrid Autofocus System. The RX100 VII’s autofocus system offers some improvements over the RX100 VI’s. It can lock onto subjects within 0.02 seconds, and its Eye AF tracking performance is twice as fast as its predecessor’s. Additionally, its fantastic on-sensor hybrid-AF system offers 357 phase-detection points that cover 68% of the frame, and a 425-area contrast-detection system for speed and accuracy in a variety of shooting situations.
Integrated Wide-Angle to Telephoto Zoom Lens. The RX100 VII carries over its predecessor’s integrated Carl Zeiss 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 Vario-Sonnar T* (equivalent) lens, which gives you a versatile wide-angle-to-telephoto focal length.
Tiltable Touchscreen LCD and Integrated Pop-Up EVF. The 3.0" 921.6k-dot tilting rear touchscreen LCD lets you use Touch Focus, Touch Pad Autofocus, and Touch Shutter features, while offering 180° upward and 90° downward tilt, giving tripod and arm’s-length shooters plenty of options. The 2.36m-dot SVGA OLED pop-up electronic viewfinder is essentially the same as the Mark VI’s, providing users a pleasant traditional shooting experience.
Internal 4K Video (Burst). The RX100 VII shoots UHD 4K video at 24/30 FPS in XAVC S format, using full pixel readout with no line skipping or pixel binning. The increased data throughput from the integrated DRAM chip also enables extremely fast Full HD 1080p capture at up to 960 FPS. For advanced users, S-Log2, S-Log3, and HLG gammas are accessible, and the RX100 VII offers a Micro-HDMI output for 4:2:2 uncompressed video to an external recorder for more demanding shoots.
Advanced Controls. Like the other models in Sony’s RX series, this camera offers manual-control options for advanced users and iAUTO mode for those who just want to pick up and shoot. There’s a dedicated function button and manual-control ring that can be programmed to offer quick adjustments of over forty different functions, allowing users to forego menu diving.
Built-In Wi-Fi. Allows wireless image transmission and camera control with compatible smartphones and tablets. This camera also supports NFC for one-touch connection between it and compatible mobile devices.User Flexibility. The RX100 VII records images/video to SDHC/XC memory cards (not included) and is powered by the same NP-BX1 rechargeable lithium battery rated for 240 shots per charge. Please note that 4K video capture in S-Log2 and S-Log3 requires a UHS-I Class 3 or faster memory card.
