Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM E-Mount Lens
The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM is a wide-angle, full-frame zoom lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras. Key features include:
Full-Frame E-mount. As a part of the G Master line of lenses, the 16-35mm f/2.8 is designed to cover Sony E-mount cameras’ full-frame sensors. It’s also fully compatible with APS-C NEX cameras.
Wide-Angle Zoom. When used on a full-frame camera, this lens’s zoom range is wide. Like, really wide. Its field of view ranges from 107° at its widest to 63° at the long end, which means it’s perfect for sweeping cityscapes, landscapes, and architectural shooting. With an APS-C sensor camera, you’ll get a focal length equivalent to 24-52.5mm. The constant f/2.8 aperture and rounded eleven-blade diaphragm make it a great choice for low-light shooting while giving you excellent depth-of-field control.
Advanced Optics. The FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM’s thirteen-group/sixteen-element design includes three aspherical elements, two extreme aspherical elements, and two extra-low-dispersion elements to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations and to produce extremely sharp high-resolution images. Nano AR coatings keep reflections, flare, and ghosting at bay while maintaining clarity and color fidelity.
Direct Drive SSM Autofocus System. The two Direct Drive SSM autofocus groups provide fast, nearly silent, and highly accurate focusing performance that’s great for still and video use. A dedicated focus-hold button and an AF/MF switch help to tailor focusing to your shooting needs.High-Quality Build. The FE 16-35mm offers dust- and moisture-resistant sealing for use in less-than-ideal conditions. The all-metal barrel and smooth, responsive, rubberized zoom and manual-focus rings give this lens a solid feel. Its front element has a fluorine coating to help protect it from fingerprints and debris.
If you want to shoot at 16mm-24mm on full-frame Sony mirrorless bodies, this is your best option. It’s similar to the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L III, but you don’t need to worry about adapters. There’s no size savings vs. DSLR options, though. This is as big as any other 16-35mm f/2.8. If you want a more affordable option and don’t need f/2.8, the FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA is a fantastic alternative.

We offer a 3-day inspection period on all sales, during which time you may return the item for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping.
On this item, we include a LensAuthority 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers damage that arises from normal use of the item. It does NOT cover accidental or intentional damage. More details are available in our FAQ section.
In addition to the standard 90-day warranty, you may have the option to purchase an extended warranty. If we're able to offer an extended warranty on this item, you'll see a checkbox to add that warranty - see the area just above the "Add to Cart" button.
If you select the extended warranty, you'll get additional protection from Consumer Priority Service ("CPS"). The CPS warranty will take effect after our 90-day warranty ends. However, the CPS warranty term would begin on the date of purchase. For example, if you buy an item with a 2-year extended warranty today, your coverage would end two years from today.
