Why Stock Photos?
The short answer is that we use stock photos on some listings to save us time and to save you money. The longer answer is that we love to take photos of each and every lens, camera, and accessory, but doing so takes a lot of time and makes it difficult to get everything listed. So, we decided to compromise: take gorgeous photos of some things and charge a little more for them, and use stock photos for other items and charge a little less for those, all else equal.
The items listed here were tested thoroughly by our trained technicians. If they observed any significant flaws, you’ll see them detailed above. If the items listed here are exceptionally awesome, you’ll see that noted above too. Regardless, please remember this is a used item and it’s bound to have at least a microscopic imperfection.
If you're interested in purchasing an item with specific photos and ratings, we don’t blame you one bit. Please visit one of our Exposed! listings (if available), usually marked with a green badge. If none are currently available, by all means, contact us.

The Techart PRO Leica M Mount to Sony E-Mount Autofocus Adapter
The Techart PRO Leica M-Mount to Sony E-Mount Autofocus Adapter lets you use Leica M-mount lenses on Sony E-mount camera bodies.
Leica Autofocus Capabilities. No, it’s not a typo. And no, it’s not witchcraft. The Techart Pro Adapter allows the camera to measure focusing distance and communicate with its motor. The motor then physically shifts the lens’s position up to 4.5mm on the Z axis, enabling autofocus even on manual-focus lenses. This adapter supports AF-S and AF-C focusing modes. If you set the lens to its close-focus position, you can use this adapter’s extension to get macro capabilities.
Techart has optimized the PRO for use with the Sony a7 II and Sony a7R II, but the latest firmware update expands its compatibility to the a6300, a6500, and a9. You’ll get the best performance with these cameras because they support the third-party PDAF.
We do not recommend using this adapter with CDAF-only E-mount cameras, such as the Sony a7, a7R, a7S, a7S II, A6000, and NEX.Are we out of stock?
